The director of the A:shiwi A:wan Museum and Heritage Centote - Zuni fer, is working with Zuni artists to create maps that bring an indigenous voice and perspective back to the land.
Analysis:
Drawn into the image by blue deer – the focal point.
The painted map creates a sense of connection.
Maps tell stories and journeys.
They are personal and full of history.
Everyone has a map, some are harder to read than others.

Tube Map
Alternative tube map "Lines within Circles" introducing circles and curves by Jonathan Fisher to make the mess of the current cluttered tube map bearable as new lines and connections are being built as we speak.
Includes Thameslink (currently absent in the modern tube map by Harry Beck)
Strategic thinking has been applied by Fisher, a key element to designers who want to invent solutions to problems we face in modern society. I should implement this thought process and design planning into my own work - especially within the mapping project to make my designs purposeful and beneficial to today's busy environment.
